Rogers to bring low-cost Internet program to Waterloo

WATERLOO, ON - Rogers Communications is planning to extend its Connected for Success program to Waterloo.At an event scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, Rogers is expected to announce a partnership with Waterloo Region Housing to offer its inexpensive Internet service to individuals living in subsidized housing.According to Rogers’ website, the company has partnered with 191 housing providers since launching the service in 2013, and over 15,500 participants have signed on. www.rogers.com
