Rogers taps Cisco for cloud-based Videoscape technology

LAS VEGAS – Rogers Communications will be one of the first service providers to use Cisco’s Videoscape TV platform to deliver their next-generation video services. Videoscape, unveiled Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show, brings together digital TV and on-line video content with social media and communications applications.  New ‘video in the cloud’ services are billed as new revenue streams for service providers and new video entertainment experiences for consumers.
