Rogers Radio listeners get back-stage access to the Grammys

TORONTO – Rogers Radio listeners will get a behind-the-scenes experience of music’s biggest night – the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, as Rogers Radio and SparkNetworks have teamed up for an exclusive distribution and access partnership. From Thursday, Feb. 6 through to the awards night on Sunday, Feb. 10, Rogers Radio will deliver live exclusive Canadian radio coverage of the red carpet, backstage interviews, photos, and video content from the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Hosts Taylor Kaye (KiSS 92.5) and Randi Chase (Sonic) will be on-site for live interviews with nominees, updates, images, and videos. Kaye and Chase’s coverage will be available to fans live on Rogers Radio stations across Canada starting Thursday Feb. 6 — on-air, online, and through mobile devices via the Rogers Radio app or the new KiSS 92.5 and Sonic apps for Android and iPhone.

“Through this partnership, we’re reaffirming our commitment to deliver premium exclusive content from the world’s most talked about music event,” said Julie Adam, Vice-President of Programming, Rogers Radio. “Beyond the on-air radio experience, this exclusive content is available on our websites, reaching our audiences from coast-to-coast when, where and how they want it.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with Rogers Radio again on this exciting initiative, and in particular working on a live event such as the Grammy’s – an event which brings a new dynamic to radio that is spontaneous and full of surprises,” said Jean-Marie Heimrath, President, SparkNetworks.
