Rogers offers wireless phone service for remote regions

TORONTO – Rogers says it’s the first Canadian carrier to offer a wireless phone service to homes and small businesses in remote areas. The Rogers Wireless Home Phone service allows users to place calls over the Rogers’ wireless network through a cordless or corded phone that is connected to an electrically powered adapter with an active SIM card.
