TORONTO — Rogers announced today some of its Rogers Infinite plans will now come with six free months of Apple Music for subscribers.
Available only for select plans, the offer gives new and existing customers free access to Apple Music to enjoy across a range of devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac, HomePod, CarPlay, PC and Android devices, says the news release.
“We’re always looking for ways to deliver more value to our customers and this exclusive Apple Music offer for Rogers Infinite customers is another example of that,” said Brent Johnston, president of wireless for Rogers Communications, in the release. “Rogers Infinite plans allow our customers to take full advantage of their wireless services, and with this six-month offer on select Infinite plans, they can enjoy over 60 million songs, curated playlists and more with infinite data and no overages.”
The exclusive offer from Rogers will be available to new and existing Apple Music customers on select Rogers Infinite plans using either an iPhone or Android phone. Once activated, customers will have full access to Apple Music and can either stream songs over cellular or Wi-Fi, or download for offline playback. Customers can redeem and manage their subscription through the MyRogers app right from their device. Following the six-month free period, customers will have their Apple Music service charged directly on their Rogers bill (the Apple Music service costs $9.99 per month per subscriber).
