MONTREAL – Rogers Communications today announced Édith Cloutier has been appointed as its Quebec president.

“This important regional role demonstrates Rogers' commitment to its Quebec customers, business customers and the community at large,” reads the announcement made en Français.

Cloutier (pictured) has been vice-president of enterprise and public sector sales for Quebec and the Ottawa region, which is a job she will retain going forward. “In this role, she has contributed over the last two years to developing a strategy that helps Canadian businesses and public sector clients adopt leading-edge technologies to grow their businesses,” reads the announcement.

However, now as Quebec regional president, she and her team will also “strengthen the company's efforts to adapt products and services to Quebec clients, support local sponsors such as the Rogers Cup, and highlight community investments,” reads the release.

Rogers employs over 3,000 in the province.

Cloutier has held several management positions with Bell and later Allstream before joining Rogers in 2016. When she left Allstream she was VP national sales and marketing.
