TORONTO – Rogers Media has named Anthony Attard as vice president, integrated sports sales, effective September 30.
Attard (pictured) was with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. for 12 years as senior director of media and music partnerships, where he led sales, servicing, and trafficking for television stations Leafs TV, NBA TV Canada and GOL TV Canada, as well as the NBA broadcast assets in Canada and a multitude of digital assets, including mobile, social, and team websites.
In his new role, Attard will oversee the creation and execution of platform-agnostic solutions and be accountable for attracting and developing top sales talent within the sports group. Based in Toronto, he will be the single point of contact for sports sales for Rogers Media and will be responsible for driving revenue targets by providing clients with integrated sales solutions that leverage Rogers Media’s portfolio of assets.
