
Monthly data usage cap boosted to 100 GB
BRAMPTON, ON – Rogers Communications’ inexpensive Internet service is now available in all of its service areas after rolling out Tuesday in in Ontario's Peel Region.
Rogers has teamed up with SHIP (Services and Housing in the Province), making the $9.99 per month service now available to more than 12,000 households in the Peel region through close to 20 housing partners. Connected for Success is available to rent-geared-to-income and subsidized tenants who live in non-profit housing or co-ops and requires no contract or credit checks upon sign up.
"Affordable internet access will ensure our residents stay connected with their families, school, work and all other online resources," said Mayor of Brampton Linda Jeffrey, in the news release. "In this digital age, access to internet is key in ensuring that all our residents stay integrated with their community in Brampton and the Region of Peel, allowing them a better chance to succeed. I am very pleased to see this partnership between Rogers and SHIP in Peel."
Now in its fifth year, Connected for Success is available to more than 150,000 households across the Rogers Internet footprint in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Ontario. Beginning this month, Rogers is also increasing the data usage cap for current and future participants in the program from 30 GB per month to 100 GB.
