Rogers on Tuesday announced new 5G+ plans bringing customers more benefits and premium features, including a 5G+ Ultimate plan that offers priority network access and a five-year price guarantee.
Currently priced at $95 per month, the 5G+ Ultimate plan includes unlimited high-speed data, up to 2 Gbps speeds, roaming in up to 64 global destinations, unlimited calling to 27 countries, free access to Rogers Satellite for 24 months, and priority network access that gives subscribers front-of-the-line access to the fastest speeds available, even during peak times, Rogers said. When bundled with Rogers Xfinity internet or TV service, the 5G+ Ultimate plan is priced at $80 per month, currently.
Those prices are currently in effect in all regions of Canada, except Quebec where the mobile-only 5G+ Ultimate plan is priced at $75 per month and the bundled plan is $65 per month.
The 5G+ Ultimate plan offers additional perks, including three per cent cash back value with the Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard, savings on streaming subscriptions with StreamSaver, a free Uber One pass for 12 months, $5 monthly savings on Sportsnet+ for the first 24 months, and three months of free access to Citytv+.
“Our new 5G+ plans reflect our commitment to deliver amazing value to Canadians,” Anne Martin-Vachon, president of wireless at Rogers, said in a Tuesday press release. “No other Canadian carrier brings together Priority Network Access, a five-year price guarantee, unlimited high-speed data and satellite-to-mobile roaming on one 5G+ Ultimate plan — all on Canada’s best 5G+ network.”
