Rogers introduces 8 Gbps Ignite Internet with Wi-Fi 6E modem

TORONTO — Rogers today launched a new Wi-Fi 6E modem, saying its the first major provider to do so and saying the offering makes the fastest Wi-Fi speeds available that more than doubles the bandwidth of the previous generation. “Select customers in areas across Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland can now take advantage of the new Wi-Fi modem for the best in-home Wi-Fi experience that will revolutionize how they game, stream and connect, now and in the future,” reads a Rogers press release.
