
TORONTO – Nataline Rodrigues has left the CBC to take on the role of director of original programming at Rogers Media starting October 1st.
Rodrigues (pictured) will manage the submission, development, and production of original Canadian programming for all Rogers Media non-sports television brands. In addition to working with the independent community to evaluate pitches and proposals for both development and production, she will oversee the current slate of original series including Package Deal, Seed, Storage Wars Canada, The Project: Guatemala, Mother Up!, and The Bachelor Canada. Rodrigues will report to VP of programming & content Hayden Mindell.

“As Rogers Media continues to expand its successful roster of original programming, we are excited to bring aboard Nataline to further strengthen our diverse portfolio,” said Mindell, in Monday’s announcement. “Nataline’s breadth of knowledge and experience across all facets of the Canadian television landscape will ensure our legacy of quality original content continues to prosper and evolve across all platforms.”
Rodrigues was most recently executive in charge of production at CBC, where she managed the development and production of dramatic and comedic programs. Prior to that, she was an executive in charge of production for Canwest and Alliance Atlantis, where she was responsible for the development and production of original series for Life Network, Slice, Food Network, National Geographic Channel, TVtropolis, and Global.
