Roam Mobility sells local SIM cards to Canadian visitors

VANCOUVER - Independent roaming provider Roam Mobility has launched what it describes as the first dedicated wireless service for visitors to Canada.The company said Friday that international travellers may now purchase a local SIM card preloaded with plans ranging from 1 to 3 weeks of unlimited nationwide talk, unlimited global text messaging, 500MB of 4G LTE data, plus voice mail, caller ID, call waiting and hotspot tethering.  Users also receive a dedicated Canadian phone number.The SIM cards, which can be inserted into any unlocked phone, are priced at US$26.95 for seven days, US$37.95 for 14 days and US$49.95 for 21...
