Revenue and profits rise, but basic subs fall, media softens, at Shaw

CALGARY – Revenue and profits at Shaw Communications are on the rise for the first quarter of 2012. Consolidated revenue for the three month period ended November 30, 2011 was up 19% to $1.28 billion, while total operating income before amortization was $566 million, an 18% increase over the same period last year.
