
BURLINGTON, Ont. — Canadian motorsports and automotive channel REV TV Canada announced today it will broadcast 16 rounds of the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship season.
Round one of the season aired Jan. 13. REV TV’s coverage continues with round two from Oakland, Calif., on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
Monster Energy AMA Supercross is “the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship on the planet,” reads a REV TV press release.
“Supercross is a very welcome addition to the REV TV motorsports lineup here in Canada,” said Mike Garrow, president of REV TV, in the press release.
“From the rider talent, to the production quality, to the amazing fans on site in the blue-chip venues series tours, Supercross gives the viewer at home ‘the next best thing to being there’ feel,” Garrow added.
“We’re excited to have so many Canadian athletes racing in the series this year from Jess Pettis to Cole Thompson and others,” said Dave Prater, Feld Entertainment’s senior director of operations for two-wheel motorsports.
“Partnering with REV TV to broadcast these races in addition to Supercross Video Pass being available to Canadian fans is an exciting development for our sport.”
