Event in support of Make-A-Wish Canada to be hosted by race car driver James Hinchcliffe
BURLINGTON, Ont. — Motorsports and automotive channel REV TV Canada announced today it will air live coverage of CSN Collision Centres’ Hope for the Holidays charity auction from the Hagerty Garage and Social facility in Burlington, Ont.
The event, held in support of Make-A-Wish Canada, will be hosted by CSN’s brand ambassador and Canadian IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe.
Live coverage will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. ET on REV TV and online at hopefortheholidays.ca.
The online auction is open to the public for bidding for one week and items include electronics, unique experiences, destination packages, and sports memorabilia, says a press release.
“REV TV is delighted to be able to work with CSN Collision Centres on such a worthy and humbling charity like Make-A-Wish Canada,” said Mike Garrow, president of REV TV, in the release. “We look forward to an exciting and memorable night that will help raise funds for wish children and their families.”
“CSN is a proud sponsor of Make-A-Wish Canada and for the last 10 years they have been our charity of choice,” said Ashley Thorpe, CSN director of marketing and communications. “Each year we are honoured to collaborate and raise funds to help fulfill as many wishes as we can for children with critical illnesses.”
Last year’s event raised more than $95,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada.
