BURLINGTON, Ont. — Motorsports specialty channel REV TV Canada (formerly MAVTV Canada) announced today it has entered into a multi-year deal with Race Events Inc. and Shannonville Motorsport Park to broadcast the Super Series motorcycle road racing series.
As part of the deal, REV TV Canada will air live the 2020 Super Series Pro final on Sunday, September 20. In addition, the 2021 Super Series season and other events to be announced will be broadcast from Shannonville Motorsport Park (which is between Belleville and Napanee, Ont.) on REV TV Canada.
“This partnership with both Race Events (Dominique Bondar, general manager) and Shannonville Motorsport Park (John Bondar, president) with its rich racing history and location is a great opportunity to further showcase Canadian racing with the talented drivers/riders and teams who compete,” said Mike Garrow, president of REV TV Canada, in the news release.
“With Shannonville having six various track configurations there is plenty of programming we can generate out of this facility and we look forward to working with John and his team along with Dominique and her team starting off with the Super Series Finals in September,” he added.
Available to 5.2 million households across Canada, REV TV Canada is a 24/7 motorsports network featuring more than 40 live races from around the world and in Canada.
