
BURLINGTON – Motorsports specialty service REV TV Canada announced this week it will be the Canadian home for the 2020 season of Japanese Super Formula Championship Series, along with an encore airing of the Super Formula 2019 season beginning Sunday June 14th at noon ET.
Super Formula, the top open-wheel racing series in Japan, began in 1973 and has featured some of the world’s greatest drivers such as Satoru Nakajima, Michael Schumacher, Heinz-Harald Frentzen Eddie Irvine, Andre Lotterer, Felix Rosenqvist, Kamui, Kobayashi, Stoffel Vandoorne, and Pierre Gasly.
“Super Formula is such an exciting forum of racing to watch” said Mike Garrow president of REV TV Canada in the press release. “The production quality is second to none and I would like to thank Russell Yost with Japan Race Promotions along with Rabin Mukerjea team at Grand Central who are providing all the commentary and insight to our viewers.”
Japan Race Promotion will follow all central government and local government rules and policies, as well as Japan Automobile Federations’ directives in regard to the holding of races to prevent the further spread of Covid-19, added the release.. All dates are subject to change at any time, but here is the list of races:
