Research pitches Blue Jays as Canada's favourite team

TORONTO – With the Toronto Blue Jays gearing up for post-season play, new research from Charlton Strategic Research says the team is tops among Canadian sports fans.While statistically tied with the Montreal Canadiens as Canada’s most popular pro sports team, the Jays ranked first overall out of 21 teams from the NHL, CFL, NBA and MLS by having more “Big” or the most passionate fans.
