MONTREAL – The Telecom Laureate Awards celebrate Canadian telecom companies, pioneers, leaders and achievements of yesterday and today with the official induction of the Class of 2007 Laureates into Canada’s Telecommunications Hall of Fame.

Be on hand October 16 at Montreal’s Windsor Station to honour our Laureates: Frederic Newton Gisborne (Inventors and Innovators); Mike Kedar (Icons of Business); Robert W. (Bob) Jones (Servants of the Public); and C.R.O. (Bob) Munro (Advocates and Academics).

The Hall of Fame’s 2007 Special Recognition Award will be conferred on the Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC) in Shirley’s Bay,Ontario, and a Career Service Award will be presented to Dr. Gilles Y. Delisle, P. Eng, Vice President of the International Institute of Telecommunications.
