TORONTO — Canadian wireless infrastructure provider Redline Communications Group Inc. announced today it has been selected to provide high-speed wireless broadband service solutions “for one of the largest telecom service providers in the Middle East,” the company’s press release says.
The three-year contract valued at more than US$2.2 million will see Redline deploy its Virtual Fiber technology “to deliver last mile wireless transport and enhance the service provider’s over-the-air, ultra high-speed broadband access connections for enterprises across the region,” the release says.
The Middle East telecom service provider was not named in the press release.
“Enterprise demands for bandwidth and high-speed broadband are steadily increasing, and Redline offers premier service and hardware solutions for businesses who require reliable, high-speed connectivity for their customers, even in the most remote operating locations,” said Richard Yoon, president and CEO of Redline Communications, in the release.
“This contract broadens Redline’s footprint in the service provider industry and lays the groundwork for more opportunities in this sector and in this region of the world.”
Redline is known for designing and manufacturing wide-area wireless networks for mission-critical applications in remote and harsh environments. Its customers include oil and gas companies, mining companies, distribution utilities, municipalities and specialized telecom service providers.
