MONTREAL — TVA Sports today announced Elizabeth Rancourt (above) will be one of the hosts of the NHL games presented exclusively in French on the sports channel, when the league returns to play in 2021.
Rancourt will join Louis Jean and Michel Godbout in hosting several NHL games, including pre-game shows and intermissions with TVA Sports experts.
“TVA Sports is very proud to entrust the hosting of several NHL games on its airwaves to Elizabeth Rancourt,” said the general manager of the sports channel, Louis-Philippe Neveu, in an English translation of TVA’s press release. “Elizabeth will take on this new challenge brilliantly, she who has been with TVA Sports since the channel’s launch and who has stood out for her excellent work, particularly in daily coverage of the activities of the Montréal Canadiens since the 2013-2014 season. Her energy and dynamism will undoubtedly colour the NHL hockey nights she hosts.”

In addition to the linear channel, TVA Sports’ programming is also available on TVA Sports Direct, the network’s streaming platform accessible on all screens (televisions, smartphones, tablets and computers) via an Internet connection.
