MONTREAL – Bell Media radio stations CJAD 800, 95.9 Virgin Radio, CHOM 97 7 and TSN Radio 690 raised $1,315,000 for the Montreal Children's Hospital's young patients during the 2018 edition of the Caring for Kids Radiothon that aired on May 31.
Responding to the call of their favourite hosts, thousands of listeners joined the ‘Circle of Hugs’ with a monthly donation of $20 or more. All funds raised go to the Healthy Kids Fund to meet the most urgent needs of the hospital, which include medical and surgical equipment and funding for innovative projects.
In 15 years, more than $23 million has been raised for the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation courtesy of CJAD 800, 95.9 Virgin Radio, CHOM 97 7 and TSN Radio 690.
