TORONTO – The Radio Marketing Bureau has announced its new board of directors, elected at the annual general meeting held on Dec. 1.
The new board members for the coming year are Jim Blundell (CHUM Radio), Brad Boechler (Newcap Radio), Glenn Chalmers (Standard Radio), Lesley Conway-Kelley, Vice Chair (CHUM Radio Sales), Victor Dann, Past Chair (Rogers Broadcasting), Patrick Grierson, Chair (Canadian Broadcast Sales), John Harding, President (Radio Marketing Bureau), John Hayes (Corus Radio Group), Elmer Hildebrand, Treasurer (Golden West Broadcasting Ltd.), Ron Hutchinson (imsradio), Mark Maheu (Newcap Broadcasting), Gary Miles (Rogers Broadcasting), Luc Sabbatini (Groupe Radio Astral), Gerry Siemens (Pattison Radio), Dick Sienko (Target Broadcast Sales), Chris Sisam (Corus Radio Group), Paul Ski (CHUM Limited), Gary Slaight (Standard Broadcasting), and Ross Tirrell (Rawlco Radio).
Ex-officio members are Jim MacLeod, BBM Bureau of Measurement, and Pierre-Louis Smith, Canadian Association of Broadcasters.
The Radio Marketing Bureau is Canada’s marketing and resource centre for radio advertising. Its mandate is to inspire and educate members, agencies, and advertisers about radio’s power and effectiveness in achieving and exceeding business goals. Through consultation, marketing, research, and creative services, RMB supports advertisers in achieving maximum return on the media investment.
