Quebecor locks up high-profile kids programming in Viacom International Media Networks deal

MONTREAL – Quebecor’s QMI Content has finalized a major multi-platform agreement with Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) that includes French-language versions of kids favourites like Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spongebob Squarepants and iCarly.Financial terms were not immediately available. The deal means that TVA Group's specialty service Yoopa and Videotron, through Club illico, may boast top notch children and youth programming available via subscription video-on-demand.
