MONTREAL — Quebecor announced Friday the appointment of Pascal Tanguay (pictured) as its new general manager of direct client solutions, effective July 13. Patrick Jutras, senior vice-chairman and chief advertising revenue officer at Quebecor and Groupe TVA, made the announcement.
Most recently, Tanguay was director of sales for French-language television at Bell Media, where he was also director of major accounts and commercial operations for RDS.
In his new role at Quebecor, Tanguay will oversee a sales team to maximize direct clients’ level of investment, says the news release. He will also be responsible for ensuring revenues are maximized across all assigned platforms.
With almost 25 years of experience in sales, Tanguay is known for his strong leadership, attitude of cooperation and service orientation, making him the prime candidate to help Quebecor fulfill its objectives, says the news release.
