Quebec drug cartel pilot’s life subject of new Crave doc series

MONTREAL —Bell Media’s Crave announced today it will begin airing on August 19 a new four-part French-language documentary series about flight-instructor-turned-drug-cartel-pilot Raymond Boulanger. Le Dernier Vol de Raymond Boulanger (The Last Flight of Raymond Boulanger) chronicles the life of the infamous Quebecer who became a pilot for the Colombian drug cartels. In 1992, after landing illegally on a tiny runway in Casey, Que., with four tons of cocaine on board, Boulanger was arrested and received a heavy prison sentence.
