Quebec-based satellite pirates sued by EchoStar, Bell ExpressVu

ENGLEWOOD, CO. – The Superior Court of Justice in Quebec has issued injunctions against the operators of two web sites that tell people how to use piracy technology and software to steal satellite TV signals. The provisional and interlocutory injunctions – that are issued during a trial to maintain the status quo or preserve the subject matter of the litigation until the trial is over – were filed against Michel Guillemette and Enterprise Highontech (9138-3489 Quebec Inc.), which operated the websites highontech.com and maestro.tv.
