BURLINGTON, ON – Evertz Technologies reported revenue of $93.2 million for its third quarter ended December 31, 2013, a $21.4 million lift from $71.8 million in the third quarter of 2012.
The broadcast gear manufacturer posted revenues in the United States/Canada region of $55.0 million, a 63% jump from $33.8 million in the same quarter last year. The International region recorded revenues of $38.2 million, up slightly from $38.0 million year-over-year.
Quarterly net earnings increased to $21.3 million over $13.2 million in the corresponding period last year. Gross margin was $53.7 million compared to $40.3 million in the same quarter last year, and gross margin percentage was approximately 58% versus 56%.
