Q3 at MTS highlighted by 20% TV penetration

WINNIPEG – When public companies highlight their quarterly performances, they usually pick a few bullet points to lead the press release. Second in the Manitoba Telecom Services’ pecking order in this quarter’s release was to point out that its digital television service, MTS TV, is now at 20.5% penetration in Winnipeg. That translates into 46,713 customers, an 83.3% increase from a year ago. Wireless and Internet customers continued their growth as well.
