Q2 revenue at Evertz boosted by international sales

BURLINGTON, ON – Evertz Technologies reported revenue of $81.2 million for its second quarter ended October 31, 2013, a $2 million drop from $83.5 million in the same quarter last year.The broadcast gear manufacturer reported revenues in the United States/Canada region of $38.1 million, down from $46.7 million in the same quarter last year. The International region posted record revenues of $43.1 million, an 18% jump from $36.4 million in the same quarter last year.Quarterly net earnings dipped to $15.6 million from $19.1 million in the corresponding period last year.www.evertz.com
