Q1 revenue at Evertz drops by more than $30M

BURLINGTON, ON – Broadcast gear manufacturer Evertz Technologies reported revenue of $63.9 million for its first quarter ended July 31, 2013, down sharply from $96 million in the first quarter of its fiscal 2013 year. For the quarter, revenues in the United States/Canada region were $35.9 million, compared to $59.4 million in the same quarter last year, while the international region had revenues of $27.9 million, as compared to $36.6 million in the same quarter last year.
