Public media underpins democracy, says TVO’s de Wilde

MONTREAL – Educational media is a key cornerstone of a strong democracy, according to TVO CEO Lisa de Wilde. Speaking at the Journalism Strategies conference in Montreal, de Wilde stressed that the values that public media brings to society is important enough to be funded by taxpayers.
