Public goes west, a little


TORONTO – Public Mobile officially launched service across Hamilton and Oakville Wednesday, adding that network coverage will be coming to Burlington in the near future.

“Public Mobile makes it more affordable for more people to talk more,” said Alek Krstajic, CEO of Public Mobile, in the press release. “Our plans are unlimited so you’ll never be surprised by a bill. You can talk or text as much as you like.”

Public’s coverage in Hamilton extends up to Burlington Bay in the north and west as far as the Chedoke Expressway. Coverage to the East extends to Fifty road in Stoney Creek. Coverage to the south extends as far as the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.

The following five Public Mobile stores in Hamilton are now open:
• Jackson Square – 1 King Street East
• 674 #2 King Street East
• 518 Concession Street
• 119 King Street East
• 1653 Barton Street East
• 1070 Stone Church

Public Mobile is also available at locations in the Greater Metropolitan Toronto area and Montreal, as well as select Loblaw stores, Money Mart and Gateway Newstands.
