OTTAWA – The CMPA’s Prime Time In Ottawa conference is opening up more slots for both its 'Breakfast With' and noon hour topic tables due to popular demand.
Sign-ups will open at 12:00 PM ET on Friday, January 26 on this page and will be reserved for registered PTiO delegates only.
‘Breakfast With’ allows seven delegates to meet for an extended conversation with a featured industry guest over breakfast before the first session of the day, starting at 8 am. It’s a great way to pick up some information, and to start a relationship with the speaker and with some fellow delegates.
The newly added industry guests are Nancy Chapelle, executive director, Bell Fund; Sam Linton, head of original content, Blue Ant Media; Agnes Augustin, president and CEO, Shaw Rocket Fund; Lisa Godfrey, VP of original content at Corus Entertainment; and Carly McGowan, manager of the Independent Production Fund.
Lunchtime topic tables serve up a short dose of professional development from experts and cover subject matters such as selling Canadian creative content abroad, changes to Telefilm’s programs, and creating accessible content by partnering with AMI-tv.
Scheduled for January 31- February 2, 2018 at the Westin Ottawa, Prime Time in Ottawa is a national conference for some 600 of Canada’s most prominent business leaders from the feature film, television, interactive media, broadcasting and telecommunications industries.
