MONTREAL – New Canadian telecom company Proxy Vision has launched a videophone that uses a high speed internet connection and Video and Voice over Internet protocol (V-VoIP) to allow audio-video communication between persons.
The telephone, which features a built-in camera integrated in its screen, can be used across Canada and the US.
The device is as easy to use as a traditional phone, while offering “significant savings” versus current telephone services, video conference fees and long-distance, the company said in a press release.
