WATERLOO, ON – Third quarter net profits at Sandvine roared back from a $900,000 net loss at this time last year to $4.7 million for the period ended August 31, 2013.
The networks and communications services provider also saw revenues jump 25% from the same quarter last year, from $21.8 million to $27.2 million, and increase 15% from $23.5 million in the previous quarter.
Broken down by market, wireless sales accounted for 39% of Sandvine’s Q3 revenue, with DSL at 32%, and cable at 29%.
"We are pleased to have recorded another strong quarter and believe that these results solidify Sandvine's position as the leader in the best-of-breed network policy control market," said president and CEO Dave Caputo, in the news release. "This represents our fourth consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth, profitability, and growth in our cash and short term investments balance."
