TORONTO — Bell Media’s CTV Life Channel, in association with Boat Rocker Studios’ unscripted division Proper Television, announced today production has begun on the new culinary series Mary Makes It Easy.
The series (25 episodes x 30 minutes) is hosted by Mary Berg, a Canadian Screen Award winner for best lifestyle host for her previous CTV original series Mary’s Kitchen Crush.
Filming in Toronto at Berg’s home kitchen, Mary Makes It Easy follows Berg as she provides tips, tricks and recipes to solve everyday cooking challenges with simple solutions.
As part of the new series, Berg wants Canadians to visit AskMary.ca to submit their cooking questions, some of which will be featured on Mary Makes It Easy.
“Following the success of Mary’s Kitchen Crush, we’re delighted to introduce a new series with the incredibly talented Mary Berg to our portfolio of hit original programming,” said Justin Stockman, vice- president of content development and programming at Bell Media.
Mary Makes It Easy, which will include a holiday special, is set to premiere as part of CTV Life Channel’s schedule later this year.
