TORONTO — Primus Telecommunications, recently acquired by independent telecom provider Distributel Communications, announced Tuesday it is permanently removing data overage charges on all of its capped Internet plans. In March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, Primus temporarily removed data overage charges, but is now making the decision permanent by eliminating all Internet overage fees, says the company’s press release.
