TORONTO – Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. has announced the availability of a SIP Trunking service for the small and medium business (SMB) market in Canada through Primus Canada Business Services. Primus claims the cloud based VOIP telephony service is a cost-effective alternative for business customers that want a flexible, reliable and fully scalable service.
The new SIP Trunking service is designed for companies that have already invested in PBX systems on their premises, but want a customized service delivery that fits more appropriately with the scale and scope of their company today.
"Too frequently, small and mid-market companies are told by their service provider that they have to fit into the plans designed for much larger companies, leaving them over served and over charged,” says A.J. Byers, executive vice-president of business services. As a result he says Primus Canada has specialized in services for the small and mid-market.
"With SIP Trunking, companies get the voice-calling services they need with enhanced reliability to ensure that their calls are always answered, as well as a flexible and scalable delivery so they can change their service on the fly to meet their evolving needs."
