TORONTO – Primus Business Services is offering customers a tiered cloud offering that it says allows for multiple performance grade options and more control.
The PrimusCloud Server platform offers enhanced levels of end-client management capabilities and features two distinct levels of storage performance – standard cloud and premium cloud. The main difference between these cloud performance levels stems from the underlying storage infrastructure that supports the cloud platform, reads the company’s announcement. By creating a single cloud product that spans the different grades of storage area network capabilities, clients will have more control of their entire infrastructure, including all of their networking and server components.
"The needs of businesses are more diverse than ever with a greater demand for superior performance and reliability but increasingly it's about more control," said EVP AJ Byers, in the announcement. "With a multi-tiered offering to infrastructure, platform and data, Primus enables businesses of all sizes to take advantage of a public cloud offering, but with all the benefits of a private cloud.”
