TORONTO – Primus Business Services has completed the expansion of its second Ottawa data centre, tripling the amount of raised floor available for customers to over 9,000 square feet.
Originally opened in 2007, the data centre offers a secure location for clients to house their IT infrastructure. The expanded space can accommodate an additional 150 scalable and flexible cabinet designs, with solutions ranging from 1/8 cabinet to full cabinet or custom cage design.
"The expansion of our Ottawa data centre will enable Primus Business Services to address the ever-increasing demand for hosting services within the Ottawa community," said Jeff Lorenz, VP of sales and marketing, in the announcement. "The expansion has been engineered to provide the same state-of-the-art infrastructure as all of our existing data centres across the country, while incorporating a number of new technologies and designs into the facility."
Primus also offers data centres in Toronto, London, Edmonton and Vancouver.
