Primetime online: Canadian Netflix users now watching more than 90 minutes a day

OTT leader climbs into top five favourite TV brandsTORONTO – New research shows that American streamer Netflix has climbed into the top five favourite TV brands among English-speaking Canadians – and is number one among millennials.A survey done in the fall by Toronto’s Solutions Research Group asked 1,000 English Canadians for the TV channels they watch most often. The group surveyed in the report “TV Brands, Who’s On Top?” were not given a list but were asked for their unaided favourites and for all Canadians aged 12+ the top 20 were:1. CTV2. CBC3. Global4.
