Prime Video gets sticky with new Canadian Amazon Original series

TORONTO — Amazon's Prime Video announced today the new Canadian Amazon Original series The Sticky — an English-language, Quebec-set episodic comedy series inspired by the “Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist” that made headlines around the world in 2011. The true-crime heist involved the theft of more than $18 million of Quebec’s maple syrup reserves, which represented more than 70% of the global maple syrup supply at the time.
