MONTREAL – Prestige Telecom has named Alain Boucher as its interim chief financial officer, while Jack Pulkinen, who has held the CFO role since February 2009, will transfer his responsibilities to the strategic planning of the company as senior vice-president strategy.
These changes to the organizational structure of the company have been approved by the board of directors and are effective immediately.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Alain Boucher to Prestige Telecom’s management team", said Pierre Yves Méthot, chairman and CEO, in the announcement. "Alain will bring valuable financial experience to Prestige. As Interim CFO for our company, I am confident that Alain will drive our constant focus on building value to Prestige shareholders and will insure a smooth takeover of the finance organization as well as the internal control environment.
"We are also pleased with Jack Pulkinen’s decision to take on the role of Senior Vice-President Strategy. We are confident that his operational knowledge and valuable financial experience will allow him to prepare successful strategic growth plan for the company".
Prestige also announced the resignation of Chahram Bolouri and André Brosseau as members of its board of directors.
