TORONTO – Former Vice Media exec Chantal Jackson has joined Peacock Alley Entertainment (PAE) as senior vice president of scripted content.

Jackson (pictured) was most recently director of development and executive producer at Vice Media where she oversaw and produced content designed to attract a millennial audience. She also spent three years at Breakthrough Entertainment as the head of development and alternative content.

With plans to relocate to Los Angeles in the new year, Jackson will spearhead the push to boost the prodco’s current slate of drama, science fiction and crime fare plus identify unique voices in comedy, reads Monday’s announcement.

“Chantal has an eye for great stories and unique characters”, said PAE president Carrie Mudd, in the announcement.  “Her creative instincts and relationships with writers are essential as we develop and build a roster of scripted content.”
