TORONTO – Production executive Nicole Hamilton has joined Peace Point Entertainment as VP, creative & development.

Hamilton, pictured, joins Peace Point from Temple Street Productions, where she was the senior director of factual entertainment.  She has also held roles at Canwest Broadcasting, including production executive, acting director of original production, and acting vice president of programming for Slice and TVTropolis.

In her new role, Hamilton will be responsible for overseeing the creative strategic direction for Peace Point globally, including its Toronto based development team as well as development activities in Los Angeles and New York.  She will also work closely with Peace Point Rights, the company’s international division, to maximize co-production opportunities and harness the numerous international partnerships the company has forged over the past 12 years.

“Nicole is no stranger to Peace Point as we have produced many award winning series together over the years.  From her days as a Production Executive on the channels side, we have always enjoyed working with Nicole and recognized her innate ability to develop and create hit television series.  It’s a pleasure to welcome Nicole to Peace Point at this exciting time of exponential international growth and I cannot think of a better person to join our senior management team to help cultivate this growth even further,” said president and CEO Les Tomlin, in the announcement.

The company also announced the promotions of Julie Chang to SVP Business Affairs & Acquisitions and Eric Mueller to SVP International Sales & Acquisitions in the company’s distribution division, Peace Point Rights.
