TORONTO – Peace Point Rights has acquired the worldwide sales rights across all platforms to the documentary feature In Space which includes exclusive first footage of Rosetta’s 10-year journey to become the first-ever attempt to land on a comet, which took place earlier this week.
The European Space Agency (ESA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) celebrated their 50-year collaboration for space exploration and technology development this year with the Rosetta Project’s attempt to land on the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasiminko on November 12.
In Space (1×60’ HD) traces the journey of human spaceflight and space exploration over those past 50 years, in addition to private projects such as Google’s Lunar X Project and private space travel projects such as Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic. The documentary also takes a glimpse into the BepiColombo spacecraft – Europe’s first future mission to Mercury, as well as the return to the Moon and human space travel to Mars.
Directed by Moonlake Entertainment’s Hannes Schalle, In Space is produced by SEIS TV and Moonlake, which holds exclusive limited window rights from the ESA for visuals of the Space Shuttle Rosetta’s landing in collaboration with Premiere Picture.
