
WINNIPEG — A new paid content series from IG Wealth Management, called The Dream Team, will start streaming on CBC Gem and ICI TOU.TV beginning Monday, Nov. 8, the Winnipeg-based financial services firm announced today.
The eight-episode digital series “follows the entrepreneurial journeys of eight promising Canadians who are offered strategic mentorship and advice from their personal ‘Dream Team’, made up of highly acclaimed business and financial professionals,” reads IG’s press release.
Among the experts featured in the series are Dragons’ Den’s Manjit Minhas (above, centre) and Anne Marcotte, a notable Quebec producer and entrepreneur. Other experts include IG Wealth Management’s Marissa Teeter, Alana Riley and Carl Thibeault.
The series is hosted by Alyssa Davies (above, left) and Isabelle Racicot. Five of the episodes are in English and three are in French.
“Throughout the eight-part series, various industry experts join the Dream Team to offer sector- and industry-specific guidance to the promising entrepreneurs,” the release says.
“I’m thrilled to be a member of The Dream Team with IG Wealth Management and to bring Canadian audiences together through inspiring and motivational stories of budding entrepreneurs,” said Minhas, in the press release.

Starting Nov. 8, The Dream Team can be streamed in English by visiting gem.cbc.ca and in French by visiting ici.tou.tv.
The Dream Team was created by CBC’s media solutions department for IG Wealth Management, according to a CBC spokesperson who also confirmed with Cartt.ca via email this will be the first paid content series on CBC Gem (although there have been several already on ICI TOU.TV).
