OUTtv celebrates successes of first national freeview

TORONTO - Independent channel OUTtv has deemed its first national free preview a success, citing a boost in both viewers and subscribers.The freeview, which ran for the full month of March on nearly all BDUs, resulted in a 300% jump in audience reach, led by shows such as RuPaul's Drag Race - season 6, original drama Sex & Violence, the quirky Choccywoccydoodah, and the OUTtv Saturday night movies."The numbers clearly demonstrate a broad interest in OUTtv and the programming we offer," said COO Brad Danks, in the news release.
