TORONTO – Jeffrey L. Orridge is the executive director of sports properties for CBC Sports, the ‘pubcaster said Monday. Starting April 4th, he will be responsible for overall sports broadcasting strategies including partnerships and rights acquisitions.

He is an excellent fit with CBC Sports and the rapidly-changing sports programming environment."
Orridge was most recently COO and head of global business development for Toronto-based Right To Play International. He has also held various roles with Mattel Inc., and served as head of legal and business affairs for the first U.S. Olympic basketball ‘Dream Team’ where he was responsible for overseeing marketing, licensing, sponsorship, advertising and product development.
